Aurora: Light and Motion

Aurora Orchestra joins forces with the BBC Singers, Britten Pears Chamber Choir, pianist Nicholas McCarthy, soprano Ceferina Perry, and baritone Jonathan Eyers, for a programme ablaze with colour, rhythm and life. From Ravel’s Piano Concerto for the Left Hand to Fauré’s celestial Requiem, via the pulsing rhythms of John Adams’ Short Ride in a Fast Machine and Ravel’s Boléro, we move inexorably from darkness into light.
